We Are A "Client-Server" And Our Expertise Is Free
First and foremost, our mission is to serve our clients. We do this by using our many years of experience to provide our clients with the most cost-effective means of achieving their business goals. We do not agree with the old cliché, "the customer is always right." If a client wants to do something that we know is wrong, we believe it would be a disservice to allow them to do what they think is "right." We offer alternative solutions that best serve our clients' unique business requirements – and our expertise is free.
We Are Passionate About Our Clients' Business
We want to learn as much as possible about our clients' business and what they want to achieve. In addition to being genuinely interested in their business, we know the best way to assist our clients is to know their product and service offering, their market, and their competition. The more we understand about our clients' unique business requirements, the better we are at providing targeted solutions to satisfy those requirements. That's why we are passionate about our clients' business and take as much interest in their projects as they do.
We Do Whatever It Takes To Get The Job Done
We understand that turnkey manufacturing and fulfillment is fraught with constant change and rush requests. We also realize that we are a service organization and, as such, we are willing to do "whatever it takes to get the job done." Our "Best-of-Breed" suppliers also share this value. Our clients do not have to suffer the consequences when a supplier says, "No, it can't be done." In the rare instance that a Gung-Ho "Best-of-Breed" supplier is unable to perform, another Gung-Ho supplier can handle the special request. At Gung-Ho, we "get it done!"
If It's Almost Right, It's Wrong
We strive to exceed our clients' expectations. We do not compromise. If a client is not completely delighted, we will do whatever it takes to correct the shortcoming as well as create a means to prevent its reoccurrence. In other words, "we not only put out the fire, we put out the source of the fire." In this industry, it is impossible not to make an occasional mistake. Adhering to the value "if it's almost right, it's wrong" allows us to constantly move towards perfection and provide our clients with results that are the best in the industry.
The Difference Is In The Details
We believe the difference between success and failure is in the details. Consequently, we employ "Only-the-Best" Program Managers to manage every aspect of our clients' business. Typically, our Program Managers know more about our clients' business details than they do. This allows us to provide solutions that ensure success and prevent oversights that would otherwise occur without such attention to detail. Our Program Mangers are the secret to our success. By paying attention to the details, they consistently satisfy and exceed the expectations of our clients.
Separate The Pitch From The Performance
Every company claims to provide the best solutions to satisfy its clients' requirements. The difference, therefore, is in how well they actually perform. At Gung-Ho, we simply do what we say we are going to do. We are proud that we have never lost a client based upon our performance and that our clients are willing to speak highly regarding how well we perform. When a prospect compares Gung-Ho against the competition, we suggest that they ask for references from current clients as well as feedback from clients that no longer use the products and services of the companies they are comparing. After a prospect makes this comparison, they truly will be able to separate the pitch from the performance.
Promises Kept, Commitments Met – Guaranteed!
Many companies, including Gung-Ho, promise to manufacture and distribute by a certain date – but we guarantee it! For example, when we were asked to manufacture and individually distribute 200,000 software kits per day, we not only promised to do it, we guaranteed it by agreeing to pay $100,000 per day if we did not perform. Making such a guarantee was easy because we knew we would do what we said we would do. The client was delighted when we kept our promise and successfully manufactured and shipped on schedule. Bottom line, when you compare suppliers and they claim to keep their promises, ask them if they are willing to guarantee it. If not, that will be a good indication of how well they really believe they can perform.
We Manufacture And Distribute "Just-In-Time, Not Just-In-Case"
In addition to supplying the products, we handle all aspects of our clients' sales to end-user customers by seamlessly integrating front-end order management (including e-commerce) with individual fulfillment and bulk distribution. Finished good inventories are kept to a minimum and sales are closely monitored to ensure that additional product is manufactured just before it is actually required. Our clients thus benefit from a single supplier that utilizes "sell-through" to reduce inventories to a minimum, determine manufacturing quantities, and replenish finished goods on an as needed basis. In this respect, we manage our clients' success by manufacturing and shipping "just-in-time, not just-in-case."
E-business?, E-commerce?, E-nough!
Business is business and commerce is commerce – whether it's "e" or not. Since our inception, we have worked with all aspects of our clients' business and have managed all types of orders including Web, telephone, fax, e-mail, and mail. We use two proprietary information systems to interconnect our clients, suppliers, and employees. GENIE, the "Gung-Ho Enterprise Network and Information Exchange" system, seamlessly integrates our worldwide manufacturing and distribution operations via the Internet. GOLD, the "Gung-Ho On-Line Data" system, is a secure Web portal to GENIE that enables our clients to use a Web browser to manage their orders on-line and receive real-time information and reporting regarding virtually every aspect of Gung-Ho's manufacturing and distribution operations.
