Gung-Ho expands its hardware assembly and fulfillment operations with the launch of Allegro Multimedia’s Piano Wizard keyboard, cable, and software kits. This critical time-to-market launch was completed in just two weeks thus enabling Allegro to “go live” in time for the holiday season. The project also included integrating Allegro’s Web store with Gung-Ho’s GENIE and GOLD information systems.

After many years of successfully providing products to the United States Marine Corps, Gung-Ho is selected to participate in the Wide Area Workflow program created and managed by the Department of Defense.

September 2004
Gung-Ho launches Go-Station – a workstation that provides on-demand printing and order fulfillment for orders that require custom graphics and dynamically generated serial numbers, registration / activation codes, license keys, license agreements, support, training, or subscription information. All custom-generated information is electronically transmitted via GENIE and accessed using GOLD.

Gung-Ho moves its GENIE and GOLD servers to a new state-of-the-art secure data center in Andover, Massachusetts without an interruption in client order processing and fulfillment thus maintaining the better than 99.9999% uptime since Gung-Ho’s systems were implemented over four years ago.

Avaya advertises "every JetBlue Airways reservations agent works from home" and that this "virtual reservations center" provides a "secret weapon" in the airline competition because there are "virtually no overhead costs, no unhappy employees, no limits to growth." NaviSite, a leading provider of outsourced hosting and managed application services for middle-market companies, acquires Surebridge, the secure data center for Gung-Ho’s GENIE and GOLD information systems that has provided better than 99.9999% uptime and no unauthorized access since the systems were implemented over four years ago.

Gung-Ho enhances its Demand Publishing capabilities to include the on-demand printing of warranty cards with registration codes, multiple license keys, and barcodes based upon client-specific bills of materials for as few as one unit at a time.

Gung-Ho enhances GENIE so it can dynamically generate registration codes, multiple license keys, and barcodes based upon client-specific bills of materials for as few as one unit at a time. The codes and keys are generated at the line item and unit level and can be used for both shippable and non-shippable items. All codes and keys are client-viewable and searchable in GOLD.

Gung-Ho enhances GOLD so it can be used as an easy Web-based order entry system for its clients and their sales force. Orders placed in GOLD are electronically transferred to the clients’ complex accounting systems and then sent to GENIE for order management and fulfillment by Gung-Ho.

Gung-Ho becomes the first company in the industry to operate without a traditional sales force. Since Gung-Ho's solutions are client-specific, additional emphasis will be placed upon its Program Management to facilitate the implementation of new clients as well as increase the services provided to existing clients.

Despite economic weakness in the industry, Gung-Ho adds new clients, has still never lost a client based upon performance, and reports profitability since its inception in 1999.
